We have a 5 step process to get your business kickstarted and pushed in the right direction to meet your goals, think of this like a house:

  • Surveying – Before we do anything, we need to ensure that your goals and ambitions are both realistic and achievable. We do this by spending the first few meetings really getting to know you and your business and ensure that our values match with yours.
  • Foundations – Just like a house, weak foundations will collapse a business. We review your current systems such as bookkeeping software, payment processing, payroll, billing and more so we can streamline these processes. This may include moving current systems such as moving the bookkeeping to Xero. As our core services rely on accurate data, we must ensure this is kept to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Walls – From the work we have done in the Foundations stage we can produce monthly management accounts and provide real time financial information, to help you better understand your financials.
  • Roof – A house without a roof will not survive the storm! With Risk Management we help your business assess and mitigate risk. No business is without risk, and it is crucial you are prepared, should the worst-case scenario happen.
  • Extension – Looking to the future, growth and planning. With the data we have been working with we can start cashflow forecasts, budgets and KPI tracking so we can keep you accountable and help you stay focused on your business. With a clear plan (usually a 2-3 year plan) and monthly meetings, we can drive your business forward to the next stage, whilst keeping the end goal in sight.

And just like a house, this does not all happen in a day. In fact, depending on the size and financial history of the business, this could take several months (cashflow forecasts use historical data to help provide accurate forecasts). However, we work with you and ensure you are always kept fully informed and up to date.
